When do we get fate points back? At the beginning of each episode, or at the end of a story arc?

End of each session, according to Oriol.

Yes, each chapter will count as a gaming session, so at the end of each chapter (or the beginning of the next, as you wish) you regain fate points.

Hey, you don't need to create additional accounts in the forum to post as your characters. There's an icon next to the post title for the alters, that are aliases that should allow you to post as your characters instead, but keeping your username for the OOC threads. Don't create multiple profiles, please.

Okay, so I'll allow Leitbec's roll for this time, but Inquiry works with fellowship and not perception, so Leitbec would be rolling against 43, not 45.
On top of that, Inquiry is used to ask around a crowded place to find out information and takes at least about an hour, it's not to ask a person a very specific question and get a straight answer. That would be done with either Charm (Fel, basic) or Interrogation (Wil, advanced).
Since Leitbec has been polite and corteus enough, speaking to the Ecclesiarch like a man in his position would require of others, I'd say he uses Charm (which is a basic skill and can be rolled untrained for half the attribute's value, in this case it would be against 16 (33/2 rounding down), but since you wrote it properly, I'm giving you a +10 for the effort. That's 02 against 26, for a total of 2 degrees of success.
As for the first roll, I can't do anything there, that's the proper skill, and it's a failure anyways.

A piece of advice: when you post something related to rolls, or a side note in your post, use Italics.
Italics make easier to see at a glance what's totally IC and what's not.

thanks for pointing out the inquiry roll, I made a mistake on that. Lucky for the low roll.

No problem. Since you picked the Inquiry +10 advancement earlier today and you clearly didn't know what it was for, you can change it if you want and take charm or other advancement (if available). But next time any of you get an advancement, make sure you know how the skills work! Ask if you're not sure!

The alter doesn't seem to work on M01E02 - The gospel of St. Sebastian threat (I tried to edit the post 2 times, but it still appears under "natahem" and not "ash")

Darn. The guys at the forum do random maintenance, and if they poke the forum indexing system, the Alters stop working. I'll contact support (again).

I've installed the last update of the plugin and it's working again, but for some reason the posts made when it did not work can't be edited.

If the group divides, I'll split the action in two threads, so we don't interrupt each other. Just let me know clearly if you want to split. Protip: some planning might be useful first, though.

Well, I'm aware of at least one other person in the party who would hate social gatherings. And I could use an extra gun by my side.

First rule of D&D never split the party XD But I think it could be fine if we play it right I will follow what the group wants to do Basically I will try won't get into confrontational situation if there is no backup I think there will be plenty of servants, bodyguards for the team to not stand out too much

First, this isn't D&D with random encounters and Challenge Ratings. Second, this isn't off-the-shelf; it's homebrew, and Oriol will make sure he doesn't throw anything against us that will automatically kill us. I was thinking splitting the group in half, with Red coming along with me, and Ash going with you.

That sounds fine with me, its would be good to have a assassin watching the scene.

Well, that's wishful thinking, but i can't vouch for the "dice" rolls... It's also true that we still have some members missing. Anyways, You're talking of going just to gather information, not taking on a hive by yourselves, so... as long as you play it safe, it should be safe. This is not like "Ok, you turn the corner and... Wow! Prince Demon waiting there!"

Well, that might happen if the rolls say so, but it would be quite unfair. Best way of not having that happen is to be prepared and don't let yourselves be ambushed.

My character has a noteputer, I assume he would be able to access the local communication network and do some quick research. do I have wifi Access?

Well, WH40K is really advanced in some things, but really backwards in some others. Regarding WiFi, no, they don't have WiFi, you have to connect by cable. The dataslates/wearable microcomputers are in some aspects much worse than a tablet or a smartphone like the ones we might have in the present. They would call it lost technology.
However, in all your rooms, you have a data plug to connect your slates there.

I don't see the noteputer written under "gear" in your character sheet. But I don't see Tech use in your character sheet either, and it's not a basic skill for your character, so you wouldn't know how to use it anyways...

Ah sorry. Was thinking I had a data slate. I will write a new response then. Instead Ill ask Titus to do some data search for the team.

*Titus eyes Leitbac suspiciously, as saying the same sentence three times was a known symptom of possession.*

Yes, the micro-beads fit inside one ear. They're like audiphones or in-ear earphones, but without any cables, and a ludicrously long battery duration. You can also switch channels to some predefined frequencies, and the ones that the inquisition use are usually encrypted digitally to avoid unwanted eavesdroppers (or to make it more difficult for them).

Also: guys, remember that if you describe accurately how do you do an action, that can give you a bonus, depending how well do you do it. (It probably won't be a +30, but you could get easily up to a +10 or even +20 if you put your heart into it. I say this because saying "I search the room" is not the same as "Out of habit, whenever he gets into a room for sleeping, he must feel secure no one is looking at him and that no one knows his secrets. He begins turning the mattress and checking below it, and also below the bed. He does it slowly and carefully, just in case it's booby-trapped. One of his numerous enemies (or the competition) might try to attempt against his life. He checks methodically the small cubicle, even the most unlikely places. The frame of a picture, the ceiling, the bed rails... everything goes under careful scrutiny... twice. Just in case." That second description would probably earn a bonus. Just saying. Now the search is done, but keep it in mind when you're trying to convince or negotiate with someone, or you're looking for information. Every little bit helps.
